Dolce Vita Canada has strengthened its fulfillment and inventory operations across its retail network to support continued growth in both stores and eCommerce.
Dolce Vita partnered with HotWax Commerce to implement a centralized Order Management System (OMS) that provides real-time visibility of stock across stores and distribution centers. With HotWax, the brand has rolled out Ship From Store in Canada, enabling store teams to fulfill online orders and make more inventory available to customers.
The brand also plans to introduce Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) next, expanding flexible fulfillment options and further integrating stores into the omnichannel experience.
To maintain accurate stock exposure online, Dolce Vita will use automated inventory threshold logic configured by product category. This reduces the frequency of manual adjustments and minimizes order exceptions caused by stock swings at the store level.
The rollout also supports automated pre-order management. When pre-order items come into stock, orders are released for fulfillment automatically, which eliminates manual monitoring and improves launch execution for seasonal product introductions.
Analytics and automated reporting workflows for merchandising, planning, operations, and leadership teams have also been standardized, improving clarity and consistency across departments.
HotWax enables in-store returns of online orders, which makes returns faster for customers and adds sellable stock back to availability sooner.
On the technology side, HotWax Commerce integrates with Chaindrive to synchronize product, inventory, and order data across systems also connects with Canada Post, FedEx and Purolator for carrier-based delivery workflows.
The solution additionally supports financial reconciliation between eCommerce and ERP. Sales, returns, and appeasements including taxes are aligned across systems, giving finance teams a reliable basis for reporting, accounting, and close financial periods.
