Multiple Receipts for a Single Transfer Order

The new Transfer Orders tab has replaced the Shipments page and supports partial or multiple receipts for a single TO.  As items arrive, they can be received in parts or in full, with real-time inventory updates at the store.

This update simplifies the process of receiving Transfer Orders in the Receiving App. Store associates can now receive items partially or in multiple batches, with a progress bar showing how much of each item has been received. With this update, order processing is now quicker and more reliable, helping associates receive and close transfer orders with less effort.

All changes and exceptions during receiving are also shown in reports for tracking and accountability.

Exception Handling in Transfer Order Receiving:

• Over Receiving: If a transfer order lists 50 units but 54 units arrive, all 54 units can be recorded. The extra 4 units are captured as an overage.

• Under Receiving:  When fewer items arrive than listed, for example, receiving 38 units when 40 were ordered, the actual received quantity (38) is recorded. The order can then be completed at this number.

• Receiving Unexpected Items:  If products arrive that were not included on the original transfer order, these additional items can be added during the receiving process to keep inventory records accurate.
