Usually Next Day Air shipping is needed to deliver items on time, but when items are delivered from a location near the customer, rate shopping will identify that Ground Shipping, which usually takes 5-7 days, can deliver this order in two days as well at a lower cost. Rate shopping will then automatically select the lower cost option, increasing profit margins, while making sure customers get what they ordered on time.
