HotWax Commerce’s Shopify BOPIS App can be installed on Shopify to display inventory availability in stores on every product detail page. This app relies on the Inventory Availability APIs that provide inventory availability in-store by zip code, area, or city.
Once the BOPIS orders are placed in Shopify they are automatically pulled into the HotWax Order Management.
Store personnel get notifications for BOPIS orders. Multiple forms of notifications can be configured like email, text message, and mobile app notifications so that associates can process BOPIS orders immediately.
Store associates have a Mobile Application for processing BOPIS orders. They can see all the orders assigned to the stores. Once they pick the orders and mark them as packed in the app, customers get notifications that their orders are ready to pick up. Once the customer walks into the store, the associate can hand over the order and mark the order complete in the app.
Estimated Delivery Date on the product detail page helps customers when making purchasing decisions. Leveraging inventory availability across stores and warehouses, HotWax Order Management can calculate the estimated delivery date based on the customer’s zip code and show it on the product detail page on Shopify.
Once the orders are placed in Shopify they are automatically pulled into HotWax Order Management.
Once orders are captured, they are routed to the nearest store based on location and inventory availability by utilizing a rule-based order engine.
Store associates have access to the Mobile and Desktop app for processing Ship from Store orders. They can see all the orders to be fulfilled from their stores. They can create a picklist of multiple orders, pack those orders, and generate shipping labels in the lowest possible amount of time.
HotWax Commerce’s Shopify Pre-Order App can be installed on Shopify to show the estimated delivery date of the pre-order items on the product detail page. This app also shows the Pre-Order button on the product detail page. The Pre-Order button is automatically converted to the Add-to-cart button once the inventory is actually available.
Once the Pre-orders are placed in Shopify they are automatically into HotWax Order Management.
Once the inventory is actually available, merchandisers have control over the inventory. They can release the inventory for pre-orders that are in the queue by using HotWax Commerce’s Pre-Order Management tool for merchandisers.
Once the inventory is assigned, pre-orders are routed to the store or warehouse by utilizing the routing engine and fulfilled like other orders.
