HotWax Commerce announced today that KREWE, a prominent independent luxury eyewear brand, has selected HotWax Commerce's Order Management System to launch its omnichannel fulfillment initiatives.
KREWE, with 15 stores across the U.S., relies on Shopify for eCommerce, Shopify POS for in-store sales and NetSuite as its ERP system. By leveraging HotWax Commerce’s prebuilt Shopify-NetSuite integration, KREWE achieves accurate order and inventory synchronization between the platforms, improving operational efficiency. HotWax’s robust in-store inventory management solutions, such as directed cycle counting and inventory receiving, enable KREWE to maintain up-to-date inventory levels at all times, avoid overselling, and improve customer experience while increasing sales opportunities.
Previously, KREWE used NetSuite’s admin interface for in-store inventory management tasks like receiving Purchase Orders (POs) and Transfer Orders (TOs), as well as inventory counting. However, NetSuite’s admin was not user-friendly for in-store associates, which led to inconsistent usage and a significant drop in inventory accuracy. Moreover, NetSuite’s per-user licensing model created challenges for KREWE, as many stores opted for a single user account to manage multiple associates, limiting accountability and activity tracking.
To overcome these challenges, KREWE opted for HotWax Commerce’s Store Inventory Management solution, which seamlessly integrates with Shopify POS and NetSuite ERP. The solution updates inventory data in NetSuite for accounting purposes and syncs inventory availability with Shopify to ensure accurate stock levels, thereby avoiding overselling and underselling.
HotWax Commerce’s Store Inventory Management solution will help KREWE improve in-store inventory accuracy and online stock availability.
