April | Product Release

April | Order Management
Added a new job to only sync inventory numbers for products from HotWax Commerce to Shopify whose inventory numbers are not in sync with HotWax Commerce, offering improved system performance.

Store associates can now promptly remind customers to pick-up their orders by re-sending the ready-for-pickup notification from the Packed Orders tab.
Stock teams can now track when a Purchase Order is fully received by verifying whether the Purchase Order status is “Completed” or not from the Find and Detail PO screen.
Pickers can now organize their picklists by sorting order items based on the Product Name, Bin ID, or Location Sequence ID.
Stock associates can now log damaged or found inventory directly from the Product Detail page to maintain accurate inventory count levels outside of scheduled cycle counts.

The new Shopify Admin Helper App simplifies the process of labeling order items as backorder, pre-order, or store pick-up for CSRs while creating draft orders in Shopify.
The new Reroute Fulfillment App allows customers to choose an alternative pick-up store location or have their pick-up item delivered to them if their preferred store is unable to fulfill their order.

Hotwax Commerce’s March update includes improved service flow to save edited shipping addresses. Merchandisers can also now view detailed purchase order item changes and schedule automatic adjustments for Early-dated Purchase order ATP allocations.

JULY | Order Management
To speed up error resolution and order fulfillment, CSRs will now be able to see shipping errors on the “Sales Order View” page and the fulfillment app. Error messages will disappear once fixed.
HotWax Commerce added a feature to mark individual PO items as “Complete,” allowing merchants to have more control over items eligible for pre-orders and avoid overselling.
To avoid shipping delays due to invalid addresses, HotWax Commerce will now validate shipping addresses with non-ISO standard geo codes for Shopify.

To drive a smoother omnichannel customer experience, HotWax Commerce now allows store associates to generate packing slips from the BOPIS Fulfillment App. This update helps them better serve customers who demand additional verification of items while their BOPIS order is picked.

Retailers can now easily keep track of missed orders and ensure that missed orders’ statuses are synchronized from HotWax to Shopify with HotWax’s latest update, a scheduled job that respects Shopify’s API limit and syncs missed order data in subsequent API calls.
Avoid lost orders and ensure all Shopify order data is downloaded with HotWax’s latest update, a job that reconciles order counts in Shopify and HotWax Commerce.
To help retailers further minimize the risk of overselling and underselling, Shopify will now automatically re-sync with the HotWax pre-order catalog.
