Betsey Johnson strengthens order and inventory management workflows with HotWax Commerce

Betsey Johnson has modernized its order and inventory workflows across eCommerce and wholesale distribution in the U.S., supporting the brand’s continued growth and expanding digital demand.

To support this transition, Betsey Johnson implemented HotWax Commerce as its centralized Order Management System (OMS). The OMS provides a single, accurate view of inventory across Betsey Johnson’s warehouse operations and digital selling channels. The brand is now positioned to serve online customers with greater reliability and maintain tighter control over stock positions as collections move across seasons.

Betsey Johnson also introduced automated pre-order release management through HotWax Commerce. When seasonal or fashion drop inventory is received at the warehouse, the OMS immediately allocates and releases pre-orders for fulfillment. This removes the need for manual monitoring and supports timely product drops, especially important for launches tied to trend cycles, cultural moments, and collaborations.

To support cross-functional business teams, reporting and analytics workflows have been standardized. Allocation, buying, eCommerce, warehouse, and planning teams now reference the same system-of-record insights for tracking sell-through, incoming supply, and open order volumes. This alignment enables faster decision cycles around replenishment and demand management.

The OMS is integrated directly with the brand’s Infor M3 ERP, synchronizing product, inventory, pricing, and order updates across systems. HotWax Commerce also facilitates financial reconciliation across eCommerce and ERP. Sales, returns, and customer service appeasements are mapped across systems, providing finance teams with reliable month-end reporting and fewer manual adjustments.

As Betsey Johnson expands its retail footprint, HotWax Commerce will support the rollout of in-store omnichannel fulfillment initiatives. Future stores will be able to offer Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store, giving customers more flexible delivery options and allowing physical stores to serve as active fulfillment hubs.
