Faster Transfer Orders Fulfillment

Background
In the old flow, store associates used to follow a longer set of steps to create a Transfer Order, such as choosing a carrier and shipping method, planning ship and delivery dates, selecting the type, and extra options like uploading a CSV when adding multiple items.

The TO creation and fulfillment processes were also siloed. After creating a transfer order, associates had to move into the fulfillment steps, generating picklists, scanning items, recording and completing shipments through a dedicated review screen.

Simplified flow

• New creation flow
As part of this update, associates will now be able to complete the handover through a Proof of Delivery pop-up, with all pickup details stored in one place, tied to the order.

• New product search
Adding products is now easier with dedicated flows for scan and global search. Store teams can quickly look up items, select what they need, and enter the right quantities.

• New shipping options
The new quick shipping flow allows stores to automatically pack the ordered quantity of their Transfer Order into a shipment without having to re-select items. This reduction in steps aims to remove error points and save time at stores.

A new Ship Later option is also available for cases where the order is created and held to ship at a later time similar to the old flow. The order stays in the Open tab until it is ready to be fulfilled.

Process details
The new flow brings the main actions into a unified view, making it easier for store teams to complete a Transfer Order. Product selection, quantity entry, and shipping all happen in the same place, so associates do not need to switch between different screens while creating and fulfilling a Transfer Order.

Results
The new design brings creation, product selection, and shipping into a connected flow that supports how store teams work. Each action fits within a clear path, and the data stays organized from start to finish.
